What type of clients do I work with?

No matter your age, gender, race, or size, if you relate to any of the following, let’s chat.

  • Those who have dieted on and off for years, tired of the cycle

  • Those looking for guidance on how to implement the principles of Intuitive Eating

  • Those in recovery from an eating disorder or struggling with disordered eating patterns

  • Those transitioning from higher levels of care for eating disorder treatment like PHP, IOP or RTC

  • Those with chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, digestive issues or diabetes looking to incorporate nutrition changes without feeling restrictive

  • Those navigating Intuitive Eating through pregnancy or postpartum

  • Those who are confused about nutrition information and how to eat

  • Those looking to work with a Health at Every Size dietitian

  • Those looking to implement health promoting changes through a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach

I’m happy to schedule a consultation call to discuss any other types of clients to see if we would be a good fit!

Nutrition Counseling

What to Expect

Experience nutrition counseling in the comfort of your home as virtual sessions make it easy and convenient. I am currently accepting clients all over California.

Your sessions will start with a 60 minute initial assessment where I get to know more about you and how I can help. We will take a deep dive into your history to better understand what has influenced your current relationship to food and explore current eating patterns and behaviors and take any medical conditions into consideration to see where changes may be helpful.

Follow up sessions are 45 minutes, typically on a weekly basis. We will reflect on your goals from the previous session while I provide nutrition education along with tools and interventions in line with the Intuitive Eating framework. Each client is individual and no one session looks alike.

For clients in recovery from an eating disorder, I can work as part of a treatment team in collaboration with therapists, doctors, and family members. I provide meal plans and may require some clients to provide certain medical information when appropriate.

My goal is for you to build confidence in making food choices and trusting your body. I want all my clients to feel like food is no longer a cause of stress or anxiety, and to truly experience what it is like to have food freedom.
